Announcing the Meadowlark at Mountain Village website and application timeline and process

Categories:

The Town of Mountain Village is excited to announce the launch of a new website dedicated to Meadowlark at Mountain Village along with application details for essential workers and businesses.

The new website is meadowlarkatmountainvillage.com and includes detailed renderings of each unit along with pricing and information on how to apply and an expanded frequently asked questions section for those interested in purchasing.

Located on Lot 644 in the Meadows neighborhood, Meadowlark will be comprised of 29 for-sale units with prices ranging from a one-bedroom, one-bath unit for $395,287 to a three-bedroom three-bath unit with a garage for $1,025,763.

Units will be allocated through a tiered-priority waterfall system, instead of a traditional lottery. The following groups will be prioritized in this order:

  1. Town of Mountain Village government employees- those who are full-time employees of the Town of Mountain Village municipal government.
  2. Essential organizations- previously identified organizations, such as the Telluride R1 School District and Telluride Fire Protection District.
  3. Essential workers- defined as any person who conducts essential services within the Telluride R-1 School District, which includes healthcare, schools, fire and police protection, basic sanitation and maintenance of utilities and any other worker deemed essential to the Mountain Village community by the MVHA.
  4. Those who work within the boundaries of the Town of Mountain Village
  5. Those who work within the Telluride R-1 School District
  6. Mountain Village businesses who wish to rent to employees

The first three groups listed above will go through the pre-application process over the course of the next several weeks.

Within groups 1 and 3 (Town of Mountain Village government staff and essential workers) applicants will be ranked according to several factors based on a Points Selection Criteria during their pre-application process.

After each group’s respective Pre-Qualification Application deadline, applicants will be notified by the MVHA of the order in which they are qualified to select an available unit based on their eligibility and the number of points received.

The full application process and timeline for Town of Mountain Village government staff, essential organizations and essential workers is now available on the new website.

The timeline for the remaining priority groups will be posted to the website at a later date.

Anyone interested in purchasing a unit is encouraged to learn about the development and application process at meadowlarkatmountainvillage.com.
