Mountain Munchkins hosts sixth annual Family Date Night, Friday, December 15, 2023

Get in the holiday spirit and support a good cause at the same time with Mountain Munchkins’ sixth annual Family Date Night on Friday, December 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Telluride Conference Center.

All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund at Mountain Munchkins, Mountain Village’s childcare center located at Village Court Apartments.

The fun evening will feature a bouncy castle, a ski pass raffle, silent auction, heavy appetizers and a screening of a fun holiday movie. Santa and friends will also make an appearance for photo opportunities.

Admission is $15 (and $10 for kids 12 and under), and there will also be a raffle to win a season’s Telluride Ski Resort pass with raffle tickets available for $10. There will be a cash bar available for adults as well.

“We are so excited to get into the holiday spirit with our Family Date Night fundraiser. We love putting this event on every year!” said Director of Childcare Chambers Squier. “Proceeds from this fundraiser will help us provide financial support to families in need through our scholarship program. Please come out for a great evening filled with fun holiday activities and a great silent auction.”

Established in 1996, Mountain Munchkins is a licensed infant, toddler and preschool center located at Village Court Apartments in Mountain Village. As a year-round program, it primarily provides childcare services to families who work in the Mountain Village and Telluride region and is the only infant childcare center in San Miguel County at this time.

Mountain Munchkins is owned, operated and subsidized by the Town of Mountain Village, and supported by grant-funding organizations.
