Mountain Village announces Town Council work session regarding Meadowlark unit pricing

Mountain Village Town Council and Town staff have been working diligently on the Meadowlark at Mountain Village community housing development and held two special meetings with executive sessions in the last week to discuss the sale price for Meadowlark units.

These executive sessions are permitted by state law and occurred to further Council and staff’s ongoing pursuit to deliver a housing product as attainable as possible in today’s economic climate.

After considerable deliberation on the sale of the units, Council has decided to conduct a work session on Thursday, July 20 for the public to understand the Town’s efforts to reduce the cost of the Meadowlark units and provide the public the opportunity to comment on the two pricing strategies Council is currently considering.
