New Meadowlark timeline and lottery process announced for those employed within Mountain Village
The Town of Mountain Village is pleased to announce a new timeline and lottery process for employees within Mountain Village who are interested in purchasing a unit at Meadowlark in Mountain Village. This is the fourth priority group in the process.
Employees within the Town of Mountain Village are defined as individuals who work for a business with an active Mountain Village business license and are located by physical address within the Town of Mountain Village boundary.
To understand more about the qualifications for this group of interested buyers, please read the deed restriction found online which also includes a requirement to work an average of 32 hours a week for the business located in Mountain Village.
This priority group will be handled with a lottery system. The lottery process and details will be provided at the required open house on Tuesday, October 3 and posted to the meadowlarkatmountainvillage.com after the open house.
The application and lottery timeline for employees within Mountain Village is as follows:
- Tuesday, October 3 through Tuesday, October 31: Window for Employees within Mountain Village to complete the Pre-Qualification Application Process. All interested must schedule a 10-minute mandatory meeting with the MVHA to submit their complete Pre-Qualification Application. Please email to book an appointment.
- Tuesday, October 3 at 5:30 p.m., Town Hall: Required Open House for all Employees within Mountain Village interested purchasers. Please email if you are unable to attend the open house.
- Tuesday, October 31: Employees within Mountain Village Pre-Qualification Application deadline.
- Tuesday, November 7 at 5 p.m., Town Hall: Unit lottery for employees within Mountain Village. Please note: lottery details will be shared at the Open House on October 3.
- Tuesday, November 7 through Friday, November 17: Formal Qualification Application process for employees within Mountain Village.
- Friday, November 17: Formal Qualification Application deadline for employees within Mountain Village.
Due to high demand and interest in the project, the Mountain Village Housing Authority does not anticipate moving past the fourth priority group, but if units are available after this process, the public will be informed and a new timeline will be released for the fifth priority group, which is those employed within the Telluride R1 School District.
