Three Town Council seats are up for election on June 24, 2025; deadline to declare candidacy May 9, 2025
The Town of Mountain Village will hold its next municipal election on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, to fill three open seats on Town Council.
The Mountain Village’s Clerk’s Office is now accepting candidate applications from those who want to run for Town Council and make a difference in their community.
There will be two Information Sessions for those interested in running to learn more about serving on Town Council. They are scheduled for:
- Thursday, March 20, from 12 to 1 p.m. (learn more)
- Monday, March 24, from 6 to 7 p.m. (learn more)
Both sessions will be held in person at the Mountain Village Town Hall.
To qualify as a candidate, you must be a registered voter who has lived within the Town of Mountain Village as of February 24, 2025 (120 days before the June 24, 2025, election).
A letter of intent and candidate biographical information sheet must be submitted via email no later than 5 p.m. May 9, 2025 to the Clerk’s Office.
The Town would also like to remind residents and non-resident property owners to verify that they are registered to vote in this upcoming election prior to leaving for spring break or off-season as the Town’s voter registration deadline is Friday, May 23, 2025 at 5 p.m.
